Portable and rugged, each GigaMix includes 100 28-bit digital effects, 3-band active EQ on all input channels, high-pass “rumble filter” on main outputs, post-fader effects send and return for external effects, master tape send and return for recording and playback, and footswitch input for effects bypass. The GigaMix 8FX features 8 XLR mic and 1/4” line inputs (6 mono, 2 stereo). There are dual 9-band graphic EQs. The 8FX has 400 Watts of power per channel with switchable stereo main out, or mono main and mono monitor outputs.
