Regarding the structure of center blocks
1. Hoop type: (width) Center blocks for Traditional Rims are approx. 5 mm shorter. Center blocks for Comfort Curve Rims need to be wider.
2. Shell radius: The ends of each block are fitted exactly to the shell radii.
Fiberglas Bongos are also equipped with wooden (Siam Oak) center blocks.
