Easy Operation, Impressive Sound Richness, and Realistic Playing Feel at a Great Price!
The DP-220 from Classic Cantabile offers a classic design and enormous sound richness in a compact space. This piano is the ideal beginner instrument for families who value elegant looks and perfectly tailored features for beginners.
Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Adjustable Touch Sensitivity
The DP-220’s weighted keyboard with real hammer action authentically simulates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics. The 88 keys feature a certain, “natural” resistance when pressed down, just like classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also touch-sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard you press a key.
Thanks to various settings (“Touch Response” = touch sensitivity), you can, for example, produce a relatively loud sound even with a gentle touch (setting “Soft”). This feature is especially helpful for the youngest piano beginners. To reliably protect the keyboard from dust, the DP-220 includes a keyboard cover.

20 Different Sounds
The small but fine selection of 20 high-quality sounds allows for different melodic accents during play, creating a variety of moods. Pianists can enjoy plenty of room for experimentation. From piano to organ to string sounds, the digital piano offers a selection of classic voices.
Twinova Function
The Twinova function was created for teachers and students, allowing the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. This creates two independent keyboards, ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals can also be assigned separately to the left and right. This way, you can play as if on two separate pianos with just one instrument!
The “Layer” and “Split” Functions
With the “Layer” function, you can stack two voices—such as strings and piano—on top of each other, combining them to create a particularly impressive, full sound. “Split” divides your keyboard into two separate zones. You can assign different voices to each zone, for example, strings on the left hand and piano on the right.

Metronome
To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-220 includes a metronome. Both the tempo and volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired.
Headphone Outputs
The DP-220 features two headphone outputs, allowing you to practice and play anytime without disturbing others, such as neighbors. The second headphone output also lets others listen to your playing “silently.”

The “Soft,” “Sostenuto,” and “Sustain” Pedals
The DP-220 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to precisely shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and is played with the left foot, as is the sostenuto pedal in the middle. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often.
The sustain pedal lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only the notes already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of the struck notes, producing a softer sound.
