Easy to Use, Impressive Sound Fullness, and Realistic Play Feel at a Great Price!
A good beginner piano must meet three requirements: first, it must be easy to use; second, it must offer high-quality features; and third, it should come at a price that doesn’t strain your wallet or family budget. The DP-230 digital piano masters this demanding mix of substantial criteria with flying colors. But even more experienced musicians who want to practice what they’ve learned and deepen their skills will be thrilled with the new Classic Cantabile digital piano, as its impressive sound fullness and realistic play feel naturally make playing a lot of fun for advanced pianists too!
Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Adjustable Touch Sensitivity
To enable an authentic playing experience, the developers at Classic Cantabile equipped the DP-230 with a hammer-action keyboard modeled after a real piano keyboard. This creates resistance when pressing the keys, just like on acoustic pianos. Additionally, the keys feature velocity sensitivity, allowing you to play softly (with light key pressure) or emphasize certain notes by pressing harder.
Elegant Design with Piano Cover
The design of this digital piano mimics an acoustic piano, so it not only shows its technical prowess but also scores visually as a high-quality piece of furniture. The practical keyboard cover effectively prevents dust from settling on the keys and protects them until the next use!
128-Note Polyphony
Thanks to 128-note polyphony, the digital piano can play up to 128 tones simultaneously. This wide range of available tones lets the player apply sound colors from various musical styles—from classical to rock—always with stereo sound.
40 Different Sounds
The extensive selection of 40 high-quality WMA voices allows for varied melodic emphasis and the creation of very different moods. Pianists can enjoy plenty of room for experimentation. Whether organ, accordion, or string instrument: the Classic Cantabile digital piano delivers the right sounds for every taste.
Versatile Connectivity Options
In terms of connectivity, this electric piano can keep up with current top models. Available connections include: 2 headphone outputs, one of which mutes the internal speakers when headphones are plugged in for undisturbed practice; a USB port to connect the piano to a computer; and MIDI IN and OUT ports to control external devices like synthesizers. With the audio inputs and outputs (RCA), you can connect external devices like CD players, MP3 players, etc., or hook the piano up to an external amplifier.
Metronome and Headphone Outputs
To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-230 includes an integrated metronome. Both tempo and time signature can be adjusted as desired. Furthermore, the DP-230 has two headphone outputs, allowing you to practice and play anytime without disturbing neighbors. The second headphone output lets someone listen to your playing silently.
The Pedals "Soft," "Sostenuto," and "Sustain"
The DP-230 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, letting you precisely shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal on the left and the sostenuto pedal in the middle are played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often. It lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only notes already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and creates a softer sound.
