Tuning and Transposing? No Problem!

With the "Tune" function, you can fine-tune your DP-50 in cents to match the piano’s tuning to other instruments if needed. The "Transpose" function lets you shift the pitch in semitones, so you can easily play a song in a different key but with the same fingering, adapting more easily to other instruments or singers.

Focused Practice with Metronome and Headphones

The built-in metronome helps you stay in time and keep tempo while practicing. Tempo and the volume of the "click" can be adjusted according to your progress. The DP-50 has two headphone jacks, ensuring you can practice and play anytime without disturbing roommates or neighbors. The second headphone jack can be used by a "silent listener" to your piano playing.

The DP-50 can play up to 32 notes simultaneously. This range allows you to play most pieces from classical to rock and pop with stereo sound and simultaneous use of different voices.

Pedal Unit for "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Damper"

Like a grand piano, the DP-50 offers three pedals that let you influence and shape your music.

The "Soft" pedal (left) reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer sound. It is played with the left foot, as is the middle sostenuto pedal.

The damper pedal (right) is used most often. It lets notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains notes already played.

USB Audio/MIDI Interface and Playback Function

The integrated USB audio/MIDI interface lets you connect the DP-50 directly to your computer or MIDI sampler. This allows the piano to be used as a master keyboard with all common sequencer programs.

Additionally, external devices like smartphones or MP3 players can be connected and played back directly via the stereo input (rear). You can accompany the played music on the piano, making your practice and play-along repertoire almost limitless.

2-Track Recording and Playback

The built-in recording function lets you record and playback your piano playing. The storage capacity is about 9000 notes per track. This feature is perfect for assessing your piano playing progress.
