In 2012 Justin York purchased a Hagstrom Viking^® to use on tour with Paramore, and the rest of the story is history. Since then, he has been highly regarded as a partner and friend at Hagstrom. As Paramore's live guitarist, Justin takes care of the guitar fundamentals of each song. For a band with a storied history like Paramore, you need numerous guitar styles and timbres. That's why the Hagstrom engineers focused their attention on a broad sound palette that can be used comfortably in live performance. Custom-made according to Justin York's wishes, the Super Viking^® comes in a classy Transparent Brown finish and a special pickup configuration.

The key feature is the long scale length of 648 mm/25.5". Drop tunings, bursting with brilliance and response, are a home game for the Super Viking^® and invite with powerful foundation to explore further musical varieties.

The tonal range of this particular Super Viking^® is decisively shaped by the combination of P-Urified (single coil in humbucker format in the neck position) and the semi-open Custom 58C at the bridge, which can be split to single coil operation via push/pull pot if required.

Not only fans of the US mega act can enjoy a wealth of single coil and humbucker sound options.
