Outstanding Sound in Elegant Design!

With the P-60, Steinmayer offers 14 excellent sounds in a sleek and compact stage piano. Besides the hammer keyboard, the P-60 features additional functions such as a recorder, split and transpose options, as well as several effects. Whether as an elegant digital piano with stand or for on the go – from beginners to pros, everyone will enjoy this easy-to-use piano.

14 Different Sounds

The high-quality selection of 14 voices allows for varied melodic emphasis during play, creating diverse moods. The excellently sampled sounds offer a unique sonic experience in all their nuances. Whether grand piano, organ, or bass: the Steinmayer stage piano delivers the right sounds for every taste. In addition to the 14 melodic sounds, the P-60 also includes 61 drum sounds and other effect sounds.

Real Hammer Keyboard with Adjustable Velocity Sensitivity

The P-60’s keyboard with real hammer action authentically simulates the feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics for the player. The keyboard is also velocity sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard you press a key. Thanks to various settings ("Touch" = velocity sensitivity), you can, for example, produce a relatively loud sound even with a gentle touch ("Soft" setting). This function is often especially helpful for the youngest piano beginners.

128-Note Polyphony

Full tonal range, even in the most complex piano passages, is guaranteed by the 128-note polyphony. This lets the stage piano play up to 128 notes simultaneously. Even in demanding and fast passages, the played notes sustain like on an acoustic piano until the end. To help you develop your skills quickly in this direction, the P-60 even includes 321 learning melodies by classical composers.

The "Layer" and "Split" Functions

With the P-60, you can layer two voices – for example, strings and piano – combining them for a particularly impressive, full sound. "Split" allows you to play two separate sounds "side by side." You can define the split point yourself. The right hand plays the preset sound, while the left hand is assigned a different sound via the "Split" button. This way, you can easily play strings with your left hand and piano with your right hand, for example.

The "Tune" and "Transpose" Functions

Want to transpose the P-60 in semitone steps to easily play pieces in different keys? No problem with the transpose function! Additionally, the Steinmayer P-60 can be "detuned" in 1-cent steps via the extensive function menu, which is useful, for example, when playing with wind instruments.

Reverb and Additional Effects

To give the piano the right spatial sound, a reverb effect can be added with the reverb button. For more unusual tonal colors, additional effects like chorus and delay are also available.

The P-60 as a "Twinova Piano"

Another feature of the P-60 is the ability to split the keyboard into two halves, effectively creating two small, independent piano keyboards side by side. Unlike "Split," where the keyboard is also divided into two zones with different voices, the "Twinova" function creates two separate, independent keyboards with the same scales. You can then play on these two keyboards side by side as if on two small, independent pianos – a great feature for collaboration, for example, between music students and teachers!

Metronome

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the P-60 includes a built-in metronome. Both the tempo and volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired.

Recording Function

The recording function lets you record and playback your own playing. Two memory slots with dedicated buttons are available. Great feature: while playing back one recording, you can overdub a second recording. This allows you, for example, to record an accompaniment first and then play the melody over it later. This feature is also perfect for assessing your piano progress.

Headphone Jack and Speaker System

The Steinmayer P-60 stage piano features a powerful 30-watt speaker system. These high-quality speakers deliver a dynamic, powerful sound. For silent practice, the piano can of course also be played through the headphone output. To connect the P-60 to a recording device or amplifier system, a stereo output in RCA format is also built in.

USB Audio/MIDI Interface

The built-in USB audio/MIDI interface allows you to connect the P-60 stage piano directly to your computer or MIDI sampler. This lets the piano be used as a master keyboard with all common sequencer programs. Additionally, the piano’s sound can be recorded directly on the computer.

Multifunctional LCD Display

To keep all functions and settings in view at all times, the Steinmayer P-60 stage piano features a high-contrast LCD display.

Automatic Shut-Off

With the auto power-off function, you can set the stage piano to switch off automatically if it hasn’t been used for 30 minutes – though this probably won’t happen often, as this stage piano will bring great joy to piano beginners and pros alike when exploring its countless features.

With the Matching Stand, Your P-60 Becomes a Compact Digital Piano!

The STP-60 stand offers a robust and stable base for your keyboard instrument. With this wooden stand, you upgrade your Steinmayer P-60 stage piano to a fully-fledged digital piano. The P-60 is securely attached to the stand using the included screws.

The "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Sustain" Pedals

The STP-60 WM stand also includes a 3-pedal unit, which connects to the stage piano via cable. Like an acoustic grand piano, you have three pedals at your disposal to precisely shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and is played with the left foot, as is the sostenuto pedal in the middle. The sustain pedal on the right is usually the most frequently used. It lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains notes already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer sound.
